Based in Sydney’s North West, this centre is at the base of a new apartment and shopping complex. This presented its own challenges due to the outdoor play area being above the basement carpark. Our design team took this and used a combination of mounding and raised edging to create a large natural play area for the children to explore.
Custom built play elements including a cubby house that fits snugly between the concrete pillars help to disguise the urban nature of the building.
We can’t wait for a new generation of children to grow their imaginations in this playground!
